What do we do for the inhabitants of Nienburg?

The city of  Nienburg has about 33,000 inhabitants. The commuter belt of Nienburg has about 150,000 residents.

What does the administration have to do for all these people?

The registration office has to print the income tax cards for all inhabitants of the town. If an employee's situation alters the income tax card will have to be changed as well, for example;he is married and his wife has given birth: this information has to be entered into the income tax card. So as administrative trainees we have to check that all particular data is complete and correct. If there are mistakes we will correct them with the help of the official in charge.

For a passport or an identity card the customer has to come to the registration office. Here we will control his personal data, if some pieces of information are wrong or not available, we will look for the right data, in case the customer cannot find it. Then we print out an order form which the customer has to sign. Every passport and identity card has to be printed at the federal printery in Berlin.

In the social welfare office we have to do a lot of interesting things. .html"We work with people who depend on social security.We calculate how much money they get from us or from the social representative. We also help the customer to fill in the form in the right way.

In the financial office we have to check if all citizens have paid their taxes and offical fees that must be paid, for example, for using the town owned facilities. Here we write invoices and reminders.
